BUY the diesel. You are so unhappy with the 5.4 that you might as well spend the money and go to a diesel. Your only talking $10.00 a month. I have a 1999 SD w/V-10. I bought it for $10.8k 6 months ago. The 99 diesels were starting at $17k. I can buy a lot of gas for $6k, so the V-10 works for me. Both SDs will do what you want. If you have always wanted a diesel than get it. Life is short......get what you want.....
