Boss 429?
Most people arent familiar with the Boss 429 it is mystic in a way to those who know them and it is fords version of hemispherical combustion. Called the twisted hemi becaust instead of being a true hemi with the intake and exaust runners inline like on a mopar, ford off set them and used a cresent shaped combustion chamber versus a full dome. Either way it is a semi-hemi not true hemi or a wedge motor like a standard 429 and and they should not be confused since so much is unique to them like the spark plug going into the valve coves instead of the side of the head. if you want to do it the motor will bolt into any 429 car motor mounts if im not mistaken. And it will also bolt up to the truck 4 spd also since it is still a 385 series motor.

Boss 429?
All,
The 429 "BOSS" is not a poor mans motor. If you've ever rebuilt a ford, you'd know that there are additional cost associated with it. Now add the "BOSS" to it and buddy you'd better have a six figure salary to back it up.
What happens when you throw a rod or suck a valve. The plane jane 429 can generate enough HP to scare you plenty.
Consider it,

Boss 429?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 16-Oct-02 AT 02:58 AM (EST)]I have 2 Boss 429 engines complete carb to pan, rebuilt, 0 miles on both; one I may part with. Will take half of what it's worth, since some spark plugs are missing on it.
Someone make me a realistic offer.
Yeah, RIGHT!!! Don't I wish???
