ID plate info please..

I have a 56, the plate reads:

F10 D6R - 15488

5000 lb 110 wb 120 hp @ 3900rpm

4 SYN 3.92 GE tan 1 L 528

I know the lb, wb, hp.. what are the other numbers?

There is a VIN decoder here for future reference http://www.clubfte.com/users/earl/Re..._Material.html.

Your VIN decodes as:

F10 = F-100 Series Truck
D = 223 CID six cylinder engine
6 = year of decade in which truck was produced (1956)
R = Richmond Assembly Plant
15488 = 5488th unit produce in 1956 (the consecutive unit numbers start at 10001)

The other numbers on your rating plate are:

4 SYN = 4-speed synchromesh transmission
3.92 = rear axle ratio of 3.92:1
GE = Paint codes for a two-tone Meadow Mist Green and Colonial White
tan1L528 = production code
tan = ???
1L = Built on day 1 of November, 1956
528 = ??? (should be a two-digit district code)

Think i found your jack.Lookat the us patents at uspto.gov igot three patent numbers on mine,this site shows specs and origanal drawings and tells all you want to know about the jack.
