I'm hoping this is simple. My carb has a slight hesitation when making a turn. A friend of mine told me to adjust the linkage at the accelerate pump on my Edelbrock 1405 Carb. There are three positions. What position is it suppose to be in? It's currently in the middle.
If the carburetor is like most vehicles middle is the default setting for the accelerator pump. Look at the linkage whichever direction moves the linkage to give you a longer stroke is setting it run run richer when you accelerate. Moving it the other direction produces a shorter stroke which leans it out a bit on acceleration.

The fact that you are fuel starved during a turn leads me to think that your float is set too low. You need more fuel in the bowl so that the gravity of the turn won't pull all the fuel up against the side of the bowl.
A friend of mine told me it could be either one but leaned toward the float level also. I recently took the top of the carb apart to clean out some dirt that was inside, I checked the floats and the measurement was fine? I may have to pull it apart again and check. I'll let you guys know. Thanks for the input. Ed.
