Exhaust manifold differences

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 16-Oct-02 AT 10:14 AM (EST)]Is there a major difference in exhaust manifolds from a 302 on a '77 F100 and a 302 from an 84 Mustang GT? How do tell which manifolds I have (the motor in the truck is swapped in from an 84 Mustang)?

I'm thinking of ordering a tailpipe kit from JCWhitney and if my manifolds are from the GT, I would think that the kit wouldn't line up straight.

Exhaust manifold differences

I would go to a ford dealer with a parts section and ask to look at a diagram of a 77 302 manifold. If it looks the same as what you have on your truck, you are good to go.
