New Tires

Hey, all, I'm looking for new tires for my '90 F150 4x4. I currently have 32x11.50-15 Goodyear Wrangler APT.

I need a tall tire, no taller than 32" and more narrow, like no wider than 11.50 I want a semi-agressive tread, but nothing that's going to run me over $175 a tire. So, basically, I'm looking for a 32x10.50-15 tire.

All right

Thank you

32x10.50 is a very uncommon size with only a handful of tires, and I believe they all have tread suited for off-road travel. You'll get a lot better selection with either 31x10.50 or 32x11.50.

I think Dunlop makes a tire for what you want in a A/T, and they aren't even $120 or I don't think so.

I could work with a 31x10.50, but I like the taller tires better.

Yeah, they're what I was actually looking at, Dunlop and Cooper.

It depends what is more imortant to you -- tread or size. Personally, I'd like to get a 33x9.50 or 33x10.50 with highway tread once I install my lift kit, and while these sizes do exist, as far as I know, I can only get off-road tread in those sizes. I travel quite a bit on less than ideal gravel and dirt roads where good ground clearance and a strong tire is good to have, but I hardly ever need the extra traction the off-road tires can provide under certain circumstances.

I wouln't mind getting highway tires, but I'd prefer the more gnarly tread

BFGoodrich makes 33-10.5-15's and 33-9.5-15's in an all-terrain. I have seen 32-10.5-15's but the only compaqny i know of that makes them is Interco and they are mud tires. I want a set of 33-10.5-15's for my 1995 bronco. they fit with no clearance problems but i need to swap out to 3.73 gears first.

32's will fit with no problems on my truck, but 33's will be a little too tall .
Thanks for the help.
