Good manuals?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good reference manual/textbook
on the theory of operation of the different component systems of the 7.3 PS?
I just bought the Haynes maintenance/repair manual and found it to be good info but lacking on some theory of operation.

A helms book is hands down the unltimate manual. I had one for my Integra and it was 60 bucks, I was just looking at the website though and it sez $140. Might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else online.
