Don't bother checking the Haynes manual, it ain't in there. I don't know about Chilton's for Ford, but my Chilton's Jeep manual has several drawings, views and info. A good exploded view and instructions is included with a carb kit.

It's probably a Carter YF or YFA. YFA is the feedback carb. Main visible difference is the YF has a bowl vent and control linkage for the vent on the front of the carb, while the YFA has a solenoid on the driver's side of the carb and a throttle position sensor at bottom front on the throat plate rod, and some idle controls at the throttle linkage. The airhorn gasket is different and some air passages in the throat are changed. Essential operation between the two is identical.

My YFA rebuild kit could also rebuild the YF, as the extra gaskets are in there.

Those look nothing like the Carter YF and YFA I have, they're single float. I'm assuming the poster's carb will be about like mine.

I scanned my yfa kit's exploded view. Hey, OSin, how come you can post attachments? It says on my pages I'm "not allowed." Tomorrow I'll be a member for one month, maybe that's it. Meanwhile, I'll email it to 00zq8sonoma. Well, no I won't he's got email blocked! So I'll try you next, Osin. Just tryin' to help!
