I was going down I-95 at about 70 when the truck start hickuping , revving up and then back down and oil pressure began to climb. Pulled over and shut it off. Now will not start or even turn over. Only clicks. When we tried the push pop clutch method of starting smelled of Flooded Gas.
Any ideas what this could be and what to look for?

In that case, it might be getting too much fuel or no spark. If you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key to run try removing the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator it should be dry.
Check for spark, pull codes and check fuel pressure & see what you come up with.
Edit, Since it wont even crank are the battery cables in good shape & clean & tight?
check to see if you might have a loose ground wire. check the main groung first and go from there..... ive seen this problem before and it turned out to be a bad ground..... good luck
I have the same truck(2.9 V6 automatic), The battery is charged, efi pump runs, then when I try to start it it used to click.. put new solenoid in, no click... Engine wont turn.. I havent run it all winter.. had in in the garage fixing the tranny...It doesnt even turn over the starter(which was tested and is good...)
Ok thanks for the help folks. Got it fixed. Here's what the problem was.
Trash in the fuel system. AND a loose ground wire on the started. Trashed seemes to be out after revving it up , going to put some stuff in it to further help it. AND tightened the ground on the starter.
