spark plug rattle
Another question regarding my great '88 F250 6cyl. 5spd; has anyone out there ever had the spark plugs get loose and rattle? Also, some have broken from being rattled, though the truck starts and runs just fine even with broken plug. The rattling really sounds like a bad lifter or something, but turns out the plugs just get loose periodicallly. I've never heard of this from anyone, and the engine seems to run smooth and quiet, when the plugs aren't rattling!
I celebrated the 200k mile mark on this truck yesterday; still original motor, tranny, clutch...etc. All major components are original, love the truck but seems like I should get better than 12.5 on highway....
