Heater not getting hot?
This morning was in the 40's and I finally had to use my heater and it didn't get hot. It has always worked has something gone bad? I could use a little info on this matter. I can't go without my heater.

Heater not getting hot?
Did you check to see if the bypass valve was working properly. The cable on mine was gummed up and the butterfly wouldn't open.

might need a flush,,, they can gum up over the summer of not being used

Heater not getting hot?
Sometimes even a thermostat gone bad will cause the heater to not heat up as hot or as quick.

Yes I have power to the fan shes blowing like a champ. Where is the bypass valve? Is it the on one of the heater hoses or is it the one on top of the casing for the fan?

Heater not getting hot?
I would do a flush and fill and then if it still doesnt work check everything that everyone else suggested and mabye the heater core. Good luck!

You can also get leaves and junk down into the heater that will block up the works.
