Patrick - sorry for not responding sooner, not been on the site. Glad you were there for Chris and continuing to pray for comfort for the family.
fordguy21 - I can understand your hesitation to share such a personal item on the site. Losing a parent is something I've not experienced, thank the Lord. I would imagine you'll never forget that day, but I hope you'll always remember good things about your dad, too.
I've lost a few in the last 7 years. I lost my grandmother in 1998 (my mom's mom). That was hard for me as she was probably the closest family member to me. Then my dad's dad, AND my uncle (dad's sister's husband) exactly one week later. Then I lost my mom's dad last october (almost 6 years to the day that we lost my grandmother). We just never expected suicide. Lloyd would have never told anyone anything was wrong, and would have been wearing a smile as he did it. He was a guy that never really shared what he really felt. It was a huge blow.. I just hope he had a serious medical condition, and it wasn't just depression that caused it. We're not really sure at this point.
Fordguy... I know I'd be devastated if I lost my dad that way.. We dissagree on a LOT of things, but we're always there for eachother. He's the one that has taught me everything I know about vehicles. I've learned a lot from here too. If I lost him in that way, I'm not sure I wouldn't follow him......
