Chevy Dana 44

I found a Dana 44 from a 76 Chevy truck. I'm planning on using the disc brake setup from this on my 73 Bronco. I also need a 3.55 front ring and pinion. I need the carrier also since I'm changing over from a 4.11. Can I use the ring and pinion and carrier from the Chevy housing into my housing?

The carrier will work just fine. Have you checked to see what the ratio is? Factory GM ratios for that pickup are 3.08, 3.42, 3.73, and 4.11. There are aftermarket 3.55's available for them though.

Isn't the chevy's bolt pattern different from the early bronco?

Yes, it is.

But you use the GM spindles with Ford hubs and rotors to get the Ford bolt pattern.
