I think its time we get a new leader. Nothing against Momudder724 bur he has been gone for for about 2 months, I know he has been busy but we need to get a leader that can be more active with the chapter.
What do you all think? How do we go about this? have people interested in the spot speak up and then do a online vote or what. I know there are a few that have been trying to keep things going so lets speak up and get the ball rolling.
we are kinda spinning our wheels without having him there to do his job... and if he can't reply because he is either too busy or whatever, that makes it more important for him to hand it off, just wish he could do it willingly, rather than have to just do it... but sometimes that's the way it goes. I don't know what he does, but I should think he could find a little time to be here if it mattered enough... and that is the kind of leader that is needed for anything, one that cares enough to participate even if it isn't completely convenient...
From what I understand he quit his regular job and went to work with his dad, family owned business, he has a new child, and he spends alot of time in his shop working on his bronco and his dad's truck, I think he also has another car he's working on. I e-mailed him about the St. Louis meet and didn't get a response, and also about checking in about the leader change since he said he wouldn't have time to do it. I think it is time to get a new leader elected and I'm sure when he get's a chance to check in he will fully understand. I think he would want us to keep things going.
Response from chapter leader's leader...
I just read the thread that was posted concerning your MIA CL. I checked and he has been on FTE and active in other forums, kinda puzzling, I'm going to post a question directed to him and see if he will at least post up a reason or at least a resignation letter, if does not reply to in a few days. Then go ahead and start the process. it would be nice if he had stepped down instead of leaving you guy's hanging like this.
I decided to take a look at when he was last on, and this is what I found: Last Activity: Yesterday 05:02 PM
He has time to look around on here, but not take care of his duties here or respond? He did get the new member done, that should have tipped me off that he has been here...
She ends up going there a lot for work, she's IT for the Red Cross out there... I know right where Mountain Home is, been by there a couple times now on the way to Boise... may end up out there again around Thanksgiving, don't know for sure yet on that.
Sounds like a good road trip. You'll have to send me a message before you leave. I may be out there, I don't know what Uncle Sam has in store for me yet. If so, you'll have to stop by!
