Start-up problems

My truck has been developing a random start-up hickup lately. wondering if anyone else has experienced this. sometimes after turning the key the engine cranks but wont fire. or it will crank, not start up as normal and have a somewhat dieseling effect for about 2-4 seconds then pickup normal idle. and twice it has made a backfire like pop through the exhaust when firing up. it seems to do it more when warm but isnt too picky. i have a flight recorder hooked up right now with one successful recording from when it backfired but i cant see the data till i get to work tomorrow. it has no other problems and bothers me most out of embarrassment since its number one...new, number two...a Ford, which shouldn't do that.

I'm hardly The Amazing Kreskin, but I'm betting the magic cure-all reflash is in your Ford's future.

Yea i was actually waiting for Ford to send us a newer program anyways to try and help the throttle lag more than the first new program i loaded...it helped me out abit...it'll be nice if its that simple. but i guess all the computer readings might help me out tomorrow...at least i work there i guess, heh
