5.2L PSD Info?

Hey, just curious. Anyone know any specs on the new 5.2L PSD all I have heard is that it is to be a twin turbo. One tech told me it was a strait 6 and another told me it was a v8.

What I am curious is whats the power gains or losses, torque ratings etc. I did hear ford was to be using a six speed auto, maybe the exisiting tranny we allready have but new mystery gear that is actually working. After all the new explorer is now witha a six speed auto now as well. http://www.canadiandriver.com/articl...06explorer.htm

Just curious, I am only quoting what I heard and would like to know what is really going to happen if someone knows.

Supposedly Ford was coming out with a small diesel engine to go in the 150's, but I haven't heard much about it lately. The new SD motor is a 6.4L twin turbo setup to replace the variable. Funny that GM is going to a variable turbo on their new ricer motor. I guess somebody musta done summtin right?

all i have heard is that it is going to be a 6.4L twin-turbo V8.

it's the LLY dmax's that have the variable vane turbo.

The diesel that was to go into the F-150's was to have been a V-6 PSD 4.5l. It was to have been releasted in Europe a year or so ago then released here but....didn't happen. I've seen posted here on FTE some where (about a month ago) a pretty good explanation of what went wrong.

Some how a word was dropped when I sent my las post. It should have read "The diesel that was to go into the F-150 was to have been a V-6 PSD 4.5 liter. (A 6.0 liter minus 2 cyclinders)
