Wink

Well, I think I know how you feel. In the one thread I mentioned getting a 1953 Panel and saying it's a rolling project. The last week involved cutting, fabricating and welding of cancered areas and I've got more to do. But I'm making good progress and I know I just have to gradually do it (Rome wasn"t built in a day). Like the other guys said get away from it awhile or make small victories which lead to a big victory.
I think you asked where I got this panel? I bought it from a member through the classified section. I'm getting pictures and will eventually get them out there.
I know I will need advice and have questions along the long haul. Don't give up on your project if you really like it and enjoy working on it some call it THERAPY!

Thanks all --- all better now. Took Sunday off and just sat under the air conditioner and watched DVDs. Sunday eve I went out a bought a 6 pack (first time in several years) and sat beside the mess and had a beer while I talked to it.

Only took one, but I had another anyway!

Anyway, did a clean up - cleaned and put away the tools and made neat piles of all the baggies and big parts I have removed the last few weeks. Monday morning I went to Sears and replaced the 1/2" impact wrench that died Saturday. Got a deal on a much stronger one.

This afternoon was back at it - stripped down the rear end and started to remove the front axle from the donor truck. To bad, wanted to leave the donor where I could move it if I wanted but it is there for the parts I need - and I need front springs and maybe the front axle.

My goal is to have the frame painted and on 4 wheels by the weekend!

I'd give anything to pop a beer and sit amongst nothin but truck parts.
