429 Build Pro's and Con's

429 Build Pro's and Con's
I plan to drive this truck in the summer, and want a truck that really rocks.I want it to not only perform, but sound like it performs as well. I have put together this list from builds that have been posted on this and other forums, I picked out what I thaught looked right and left what i figured was wrong. This is my first attempt, and I have some parts.
Im looking for feed back. What is wrong and what is right with it, and even more important, why?
Here is my list.
1969 ford 429/260 block
ford 429 comp cams Xtreme Energy XE274H Cam (cam and lifters) Code: 34-247-4
comp cams roller rockers, part #1411-16 (rollers and pushrods)
rod guides 4838-8
speed pro hypertek STL-H535P40's
Hastings rings, clevite 77 berrings,
Mellings oil pump
Felpro gaskets
rods (got a set of d00e-a's) Wave lock Rod bolts
429 crank
Cylinder heads- ported exh side stainless mildon valves. c9ve 72 cc chambers
Weiand Stealth intake w/ 850 demon carb, vac secondary.
1 7/8 with 3" colector sanderson ff461
3 in exhaust.
C-6 w/ rebuild n shift kit and r code servo.
9" rear with 3:55' posi
56 ford f-100, 4000 lbs,
18 inch rims, with 295/35/18's
