2004 - Transmission
I had a rather strange occurrence that so far, has only happened once but I am still concerned. Several months ago, I had the addive added to the tranny fluid to prevent the harsh reverse engagement. That has worked very well. However, last night I pulled into a friends driveway to turn around, backed down the driveway (reverse engagement was smooth), got into the street and switched into drive. Nothing harsh about it until I started to press the gas and found NOTHING happening for a few seconds. I looked to be sure it wasn't in neutral, which it wasn't and then, all of a sudden a bang and it started to go forward. Has anyone had something similar where it doesn't switch to drive right away?
