04 exped,muffler?
hi all, we have an o4 5.4 expedition, it has been to the dealer 3 times for exaust noise, it sounds like a bafflel in the muffler has come loose , only at times. my last visit, i started and turned off the engine 3 times in a row, with service person hearing the pop-pop noise, i thought, finally some one from ford heard it. left it, sorry no luck. well i took it back last week, been at the dealer for a week, no call, no luck i guess. anyone else have this type of noise. thansk louie

how did you get them to change it, did they hear the noise, or ? call in a specialist?i have 2 ford dealers near (lincoln,ford) both have heard the noise, but say once i leave the exped. they raise and cannot duplicate.
