Howdy, I Am The Proud Owner Of A 2000 F350,rc,lb,4x4, Can Anyone Tell Me The Location Of The Mystery "cabin Filter"? If It Exists Where Did They Hide It, If It Doesn't Then I Paid 54.00 For A Useless Filter. Ha. Ha.
I was just wondering about that myself. I'm looking in the service manual, and there is a picture of a filter in the A/C system airflow schematic, but no mention of it in the text.
In MrsCookie's Windstar it's in the blower ducting under the hood, but most of the ducting on our trucks is in the cab, so it must be up under there somewhere.
Ya'll stop looking. There isn't one on the Super Duty trucks. Yes, it's in the books at the parts houses and they'll sell you one, but it's not there. The Xs have one the trucks don't.

p.s. Go get your money back.
i have also heard that some dealers put them in some trucks as a dealer option. there is a foam filter (i guess you could call it a filter) in the incomming air duct, if you take off the cover for the heater core (behind the glove box) it is on the left. after i fixed my coolant leak (bad radiator cap) i could still smell the coolant through the hvac until i cleaned that thing out.
