Well John, you never really know. That's why most folks with mileage like your carries a spare and the wrench to change it. There should be an article on changing you CPS either in the PSD section or article section.

I have read that if you dont let all the excess oil drip off the k&n filter the excess can get on the wires for the mass-air meter ,causing the meter to read wrong, most of the guys put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to clean them properly and not leave any residue , Craig.

My cps went out at 35,000. I keep a new one in the truck. Do a search of this forum and you will find directions for replacing.
