DP Tuner or TS Performance?
Does anyone know which of these chips is the real deal? I am getting ready to buy a chip but don't know which one is the best? I know they are both programable and can be customized to you your needs and have 6 positions but one costs about $150 more but look the same? or is there a different one made better for my '02 7.3L? I don't want one that says it puts out 140hp but realy only put's out 100hp and will not have cutomer support or techs avail? If any of you have one or a different one please reply soon.

I believe Jody at DP Tuner is the only person that sells his tunes. TS can be had from several vendors. If there is a problem who do you talk to? The chips are the same, the tuning is the difference. I've used both. If you do a search there are a few threads where this is talked about further.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of those 2 chips. I have heard good things about both of them and I currently run the TS in my truck with great results. Good luck with which ever you choose. The main thing with both of these chips is the preparing of the card contacts that absolutely has to be cleaned properly before installing the chip. The problems that I have heard of were mostly due to poor cleaning of the contacts. Take your time and clean them right and you will be hassle free.
