Now I just need to unload this 6.0. Have it priced at trade-in value and it's in great shape with the right amount of options and add-ons; however, so far every potential buyer is scared of the 6.0 or enticed by the friends and family plan to buy new. I'll just keep dropping the price every week 'til it sells.
Maybe I'll buy Ford again if they get their stuff straight. Til then, happy trails.
What year, and what are you asking?? How many miles?? If I am not interested I may know someone who is. Sorry you had such a problem with the 6.0, but the person who may be interested just got out from under an 03 Dodge which he said he will never buy again.
yup, give it a try. Both trucks are good, either can have bad problems. My last truck was a 96 Ram 4x4 1500 with 150,000 miles, there wasn't a time in its life it wouldnt run circles around a F-150. The new dodge lost my sale because of interior room, but thats it. I need that space inside for folks.
I hope it runs as good and as long as im hoping my new F-250 will.
Removed by Admin, they can find them on their own
The last is 'geared' more toward off-road, but the Cummins is a Cummins whether you have 12" of lift or not.
These guys are great, very similar to this board.

Just got rid of my Cummins for my first ever Ford vehicle of any kind. The Dodge AND Cummins parts of my old truck were nothing but trouble. It'd take me 10 minutes to type out the laundry list of troubles I had.
Good luck to you and enjoy spending a lot of time out on the Turbo Diesel Register.
if you truely think a cummins is so great go to a major cummins engine distrubutor like i used to work for and count how many are in their yard waiting to be fixed or repaired.
big rig drivers call them cumaparts
Did you have allot of problems? I'm about to sink a bunch of dough into a new truck.
people go looking for answers to problems which bring them here, sort of like bears to a bait pile. every manufacturer has it's problems. FTE will help you solve the problem if one occurs. for every bad apple there are thousands of good ones.

It's too bad you did'int give Ford another try, I've seen too many good 6.0's to worry too much about the problems a relative few are having. I guess if it's been a really bad apple it could leave a sour taste in your mouth.
Still, I like the SD truck so much more than the Dodges.
Personally I have NO problem with Dodge or Cummins - both have been very good to me, but you really do deserve what little flak you have been recieving here - I think it would have been wiser to simply say your selling your Ford - your post comes off as a slap in the faces of those who own good ones.
