Heavy E-bay item arrived Wednesday. Inspection revealed one bit of lower angle stock was missing. Also, the accompanying bumper had a crack around one of the carriage bolt holes. For the 57 -60 owners who have wondered what the extra bolt holes on the top surface of the bumper wwew for - they're for a cattle guard. Welded Thursday. Blasted & primed today. Intend to do a quick semi-gloss black paint job & install to enjoy for the rest of the summer. Will post photos w/measurements for the clone-minded soon (Colonel Flashman).

Thank'ee kindly, sir!
By the by, I believe you mean "Grille Guard" that's how it's listed on the Options & Asscessaries Books anyway, as a Cattle Guard is used on the Front of a Locmotive to Scoop them out of the way & off the tracks.
Also a flat one is placed in the ground @ a driveway interence to keep the cattle from crossing off the property.
Hey, could you post a picture of the grille guard? It'd be interesting to see what one looks like. It's not like I can use one, I accidentally left my *#$&! front bumper in Kansas!
