Have the long bed dimensions changed over time?
I'm shopping around for black bed cap rails for an 2005 long bed Ranger, and, astoundingly, have found none that are currently being made. I did find one that Mustangs Unlimited is advertised for 1993-2000 Rangers. They say it isn't made for the newer beds. Since it's a "New Old Stock" item, I'm wondering if they know what they are talking about.
Did the bed dimensions change in 2001 and later? Did the rail profile change? Stake hole locations? Is there any reason why it wouldn't work?
Any input / suggestions welcomed.
