electric water pump??????

electric water pump??????

I am building a 400 (78) and unable to find an electric water pump to use on I have had a CSR and a meziere thay both sent a mounting back plate but neither one covered a hole right under the thermostat. Any one had this problem.

if your talking about hte hole that the heater hose was in, I went to napa, and got a soft plug (looks like a freeze plug) and put in there worked great never had a leak.

I dont think thats what it is. My heater hose conects to a nipple to left of the thermostat, and there is a threaded hole below that that has a plug in it but this hole is roght below the thermostat on the front of the block. normaly covered by the water pump. but I think I will look fo a plug to just plug it off.

sure they are a 12 volt motor hooked to a water pump, and don't use belts, and pulley's to run them.
