Water pump leak
Just replaced the WP on my 99 7.3. I now have developed a leak from the lower passenger between the block and WP. Shpuld I take off and replace gasket? maybe use gasket maker?
Any suggestions would help.

I would first check and make sure all of your hose clamps are tight, sometimes and takes just a little partial turn. I would also check and make sure nothing got cought between the gasket when you were replaceing it.

Anybody you know with a pressure testing kit so you can actually test for the leak? That way you know its not a loose hose or anything. I helped a friend reseal a WP on his 302 and despite using gasket maker with the paper gasket it still leaked. Ended up replacing the thing as defective because no matter what it wouldn't seal.
