wetsanding

ok, im going to wetsand my truck this weekend, i need some advice...

soap and water over just running the hose on it? and how much to sand?

i figured when i was done sanding i would use 3m rubbing compound to buff into it then use a clay bar to polish it... help me please!

Use 1000 grit wet sand paper and just water. If your trying to get rid of all the orange peel, sand it and then wipe it off dry and you will be able to see the orange peel that may be left. I use Meguires medium or fine cut compound.

i bought some 2000 grit... and i have black paint with some decent white scratches... i cant click the scratches tho

Use a sanding block, and be carefull on sharp ridges, you can cut thru the paint real quick.

use 1500 and stay about and half inch away from corners you can hit it with the buffer and yourll be fine
