Step Lights
For safety purposes, we would like to have some lights installed underthe rocker panel of our 2002 F-250 CC to light the step bars at night. We would like to have them wired to come on with the dome light.
Any light kit recommendations? Thanks so much for your help!

19.00 fog lights from Autozone. The cheaper the light the broader the light pattern which is what you want for this purpose.

Bear Hunter, I'm looking to hookup some LED lights. How did you wire them to come on with the dome light. Is there a wire in the harness that runs from front to back? Any information would be appreciated!!

Thanks, Bear Hunter, for the pictures and recommendations. That is the concept I had in mind. I have found some amber waterproof 1"X2" boat trailer side marker lights that will work.
I prefer amber to white lights as amber illuminates better during fog and drizzle, when you need good vision for getting in and out of the truck. Again, thanks so much! Mike

...under the door sill inside the cab, look for the black wire w/blue tracer. that's your dome light signal.
Here's how to connect the proper poles to your relay.
# 85 of black w/blue tracer
# 86 goes to ground
# 30 fused power
# 87a to lamps
And where ever you wanna put the relay and lights
My relay is under the hood on the firewall.
