head rush question

the last 6 months ive been havign really bad headrushes, like right after i get up, ill loose sight, ill go numb, and have no sense of balance, ive even fell down and idnt even know i was falling, but it only last 30 seconds or so. i get a feeling considerable to
spinnin on around a bat with a blind fold on while take a muscle relaxer, thats the only thing i can think of that comparable to.

ive bonked my head quite a few times. could it because of this?
does anybody else have this problem?

ive noticed its always worse when im tired

Sounds like one "bonk" to the head too many.......
Could also be a blood pressure problem, or any variety of things........see your Dr., again.........

What meds ya take? They can affect you. Inner ear infections can do it. Blood pressure also can make ya dizzy. You may be 'stressing out' and really worn down, maybe a funky migrane.

You really should talk with your doctor. It may take a few trys and different meds but it could be serious and best to catch em quick.

I do almost the same thing. When I stand up really fast after I've been sitting a while, or when Im exhausted after working all day and I stand up after sitting and relaxing. But I dont fall down...I start to see spots and I get very dizzy.

It could be from my fractured skull....or because Im 6'5" tall. I hit my head a lot!

How tall are you?

I am 6'2". When I was younger - 16-20 - I had the same thing happen. A LOT! I saw a doctor about it who ran a whole gamut of tests and found that everything was normal. I will make a suggestion to you - think of something insanely difficult. A large algebraic equation. A complex riddle.

If you are fairly tall, most likely what is happening is a direct result of your heart - all of our hearts are exactly the same size physically - trying to pump blood to your brain. With tall people, it takes a bit longer to get that blood pumping to your brain than it does for a short person. It's a matter of plumbing.

If you think of something complex, your brain starts to process in overdrive demanding more oxygen, thus more blood, in your brain. If you get into the habit of thinking about something difficult before you stand up or get up out of bed (whenever the situation is that this is happening to you) your heart will start pumping more blood to the brain to handle the thought process and when you standup you won't blackout.

I can't tell you how many times I woke up face down in the kitchen because I had been watching TV all day on the couch and decided to run for a snack during a commercial. If this sounds about right, try it. I would be interested to know if it works for you, too.

Same here man, skinny *** tall kid. Used to pass out all the dang time. Freaked me out. Start thinking real hard about something before you stand up and it will quit happening. Gets better the older you get.
