interior lights dont go on

hi i have a 99 eb expedition an dwhen i open the driver side door the interior lights wont go on. but if i open anyother door on the truck it comes on. its not that big of a deal but 80% of the time im opening the driver door to get something out adn its dark any ideas

Spray the lacthing mechanism (in the door) liberally with WD-40. Should help.

tried that yesterday after i straightned my headlights not working still any more ideas

You might have to remove it and either replace it or see if the wiring is still intact.
