Next generation Bronco
Octane
I like the direction that this vehicle is going. Personally, I think that ALL of the manufacturers have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many designs.
The 'luxury' SUVs. . . . don't need 'em. (Whether it's Ford OR GM.)
For me. . . bring back a pre '78 Bronco (even retro look) and I'll buy one in a second!
Removable top (with a REAL rollbar).
Put a 4.6 mod motor or a 300 I6 in it, solid front and rear axles, auto (C-6 preferably) and it's mine!!!
It would be like Ford saying that they are going to stop making regular cab F-150s in order to make room in the market for SuperCabs...INSANITY!
In my opinion, dumping the regular cab F-150s would be as big of a mistake as dropping the Bronco was.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts

That long stroke 300 was a sweetheart...dad had one in his 1981 F-100 and it was a monster...wouldn't ever die...tore up clutches like they were tissue, but the engine was bullet-proof.
