Quick Warranty Question..

Is there a place online that explicitly spells out the Powerstroke Warranty in detail? I don't have the book anymore, and I would like to review what is covered and what is not. This is on a 2002 F250 7.3L PSD.

I'm looking to see if any of the electronics are covered. The accelerator is drive-by-wire, nothing mechanical and I want to know if it's covered. Apparantely if the accelerator module does not initialize when you first turn the ignition on, (the computer checks to see if it is there and what position it is in), then it assumes that the throttle is wide open and won't start. It'll turn over, but not start.

Is this module covered under the PSD warranty? I assume so since it won't even start. Everytime I have to go to the dealer for a repair, we go round-n-round about what is covered and what isn't. I mean, if it doesn't start because of something mechanical or electrical it shouldn't matter, it should be covered.

I guess I am getting sick of hearing that things aren't covered on this vehicle. I had to replace both vacuum sensors & vacuum rings for the 4WD at 40+K miles at my expense. Had to replace the ball joints at 50K, my expense. I don't even use it for towing or plowing, so it isn't getting abused at all. I got this one in '02 because the one I bought in '00 had serious problems and I went through the Lemon Law in NY. Ford finally coughed up another truck at minimual cost to me, so I took it and got this '02. Now I am having issues with this one. (This vehicle's hydraulic line was misplaced during assembly in the left-front wheel-well, and it ended up rubbing on the front shock and finally broke, losing all steering and brakes since the systems are now combined. Good thing I wasn't going very fast..Rant over) I'm happy with the vehicle overall except for all these issues that keep popping up after the 36K warranty. Seems like everytime I try to invoke the PSD warranty for anything..it isn't covered.

Any ideas on my current issue?
