Diablo problems with Expedition

Any body using the Diablo Predator on their 4.6?

I recently purchased one and after installing the "Diablo Tune" it causes the ecu to go into open loop with only slight throttle movement. It should be around 60 plus percent based on other cars I have tuned. It also reads .9 on the 02 sensor which is really rich. Any of you all having the same problem? It only does this with their tune installed.

I have been in contact with their tech department and they suggested to "leave it like it is and see how it works" My concern is the mileage will drop considerably.

Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately you have to deal with Diablo directly when it comes to the tune they supply, the end dealer can't modify them. You can play around with the fueling somewhat on the Predator in the advanced menu. What was the O2 reading before the Predator performance tune install?

I did not datalog befeore I installed their tune all though I could have as I have an obd2 program in my laptop. To prove it was their tune I removed it and installed the factory tune back in. It run as it should: open loop until about 160 degrees engine temp, closed loop until about 80 or 90 percent throttle, with 02 voltage fluxuating until you go into open loop and then staying steady. I put their tune back in and it goes to open loop with less than 10 percent throttle movement which as I said before is way to rich and unnecessary for day to day driving.

I have been in contact with their tech department and now it has been sent to a programmer to review (this is what they said). They are assuring me it will be fixed and not get frustrated. I will post the end result of this when I get the fix. If others are using the Predator, then it would be worthwile to go check it...if anyone needs instruction I would be glad to post how to see it on this thread...
