Automatic door lock quit working.99 Explorer
I could tell the this was going bad, sometimes the inside handel just did not fill right, same with the out side. Today the solenoid would not pop the lock open on the drivers side, the key wont even unlock the door but will lock it.
I opened the door panel had a good look was not able to do any thing about it, what have some of you guys had to do to fix this problem. Sure dont want to pay ford to fix this if I can do my self.

Does the exterior door handle feel "loose"? If it does, the spring may be the culprit.
