My name is Ward. I am a newbie. I have a 2002 F250 SHD 7.3 Turbo Diesel. I am having problems with the turn signals. I checked the fuses and they all look ok. Occasionally when I hit the turn signal lever, the signal might flash. This is the case if I use the right or left turn signal.
I am thinking there may may be a problem in the turn signal device, whether it be the lever or the switch assembly. By the way, all the bulbs are good. I am having difficulty locating the parts on line to see if I can purchase them. I don't want to go to the dealer or garage unless I absolutely have. I really love and enjoy my F250, but every time it goes to the garage for something, it always costs somewhere in the range of 300 - 400 dollars.
So if someone out there can pass along some advice, I would greatly welcome it.

Does it stay on solid when it doesn't flash? If so, I would replace the flasher unit. Your truck is pretty new, but the older trucks had the flasher unit in the fuse box. One is for the 4-way emergency flashers and the other is for the regular turnsignals.
