Unless you go find one yourself, you are at the mercy of those who do take the time to travel there, fight the insects and reptiles, and lay out in the sun wrenching these things loose and transporting them back to rust country for sale ($500-600). Or, you may find one on Ebay, but you'll be competing against every other poor sap who needs one, plus have to pay the shipping.Scour the classifieds here on a regular basis. The good news is yours fits a broader range of trucks than most, so the chances of you getting a 'hit' are higher, but you should expect to pay at least $300 for one no matter what. That's where the current market is.

I just purchased another 61-64 Ford support off of ebay for only $35 from the state of Washington . It looked very good in the pictures and I hope it's that good when it arrives. These supports are getting scarce as so many junkyards are crushing these trucks instead of preserving them for fellow truck owners like us. I now will have 3 extra and one is a very rare NOS support (possibly for another future project). Just goes to show they are still out there you just have to get lucky every now and then. Lewis

I've got a real sweet one off of a 62 Unibody that was scrapped. I blasted it and bathed it in POR15. It's sitting behind me in my computer room. I have 3, also.

The newer trucks are way, way more plentiful and I believe may not rust out at the same frequency. They are also so dissimilar you can't cut one up to fix an older one. Believe me, I checked.
