My wife and I are planning to purchase a white F-250. We would like to have a gray bottom accent color added.
Can this be done with the existing side moldings painted or will the new paint eventually flake off the side moldings? Thanks in advance for your help!
What year F250 ? The newer models probaly have plastic trim, which will require an adhesion promoter. The 70's trucks have aluminum body trim mouldings , which takes a little extra work to get paint to adhere to them.
Mike,
If you take your truck to a REPUTABLE body shop, you should have no problems. They will use the correct products to do the job right, and many of these shops have lifetime warranty policies.
