is there a spray paint available to paint my 2 different panels. one is red the other is green. but would like to do them in black. is this possible?. thanks mudder trucker.
You can use Vinyl dye after you have done the proper preparation to them.
Make sure you buy the * Preval* spray system.
This will be on the shelf at any good parts house or Paint supply house.
Check in the appearance forum or ask me for more info privately.

so should i just scrub them with soap and water? and would tremclad black spray paint work alright. thanks mudder trucker.
If it's a beater then who cares if the paint flakes or scratches. Otherwise find some good paint for plastic and prep it well.
I just did mine with soap and water and rustoleum primer and bright red. Don't know how they will hold up, but I didn't have the facilities or time to do a pro-job of it.
If you want to paint plastic there is a very good paint to use that comes in a wild variety of colors. Use lexan plastic body paint that is used on Radio Controlled cars and trucks. It holds tight to plastic when the surface is prepped well (the guys in the hobby shop can tell you how) and it is very flexible.
Thanks for using FTE!
