anyone know how hard/easy it is to install a head unit in our trucks? i bought one of these crazy hard-drive mp3 players for the car and it requires an RCA input.
anything easier than installing a whole new head unit for the rca jacks is welcome too.
piece of cake.... with a wiring harness and install kit...
I installed an Alpine head unit... its really a piece of cake. There's a few pieces of trim to remove and then about 8-10 screws for the actual face plate. Then remove the old radio.. pop in the new one and put everything back. Should take no more than an hour.
generally wherever you bought your radio....or try one of the big 'superstore' electronic places... you know the 'best' place to 'buy' or wherever you might find 'circuits' in the 'city'....
