stolen key
Some Edited out found on of the few times I let my truck unlocked I had been haveing trouble starting my truck so I had my spare key with me to try and they got it along with about 4,000 in tunes middle of the day daylight good area (well thats what the realeaste agent said) How can I reprogram it so the key they got will not work and the only one key I have work . I would just go to the dealer but on this same day i was laid off after 5 years money is real tight any help would bee great thanks

sorry can't follow, what exactly happened? They stole you spare key? I don't think you can reprogram the PATS system. It might be a better idea to re-key your doors and get a kill switch or alarm installed. This will probably cost less then what the dealer is gonna charge to work on your truck.

You will have to go to the dealer and get one extra key made. They will be able to erase all existing key codes, and program the new and old key that you still have. The stolen key will still open the doors and turn the ignition, but wont be able to start the vehicle. Make sure you tell the dealer to do an (key code erase).

Thank You For The Input I Think I Will Get Peace Of Mind If I Get That Stolen Key So Hers Is What I Did I Put And Add In Local Paper And Lot Of Flyers All Over Town Reward What His Nade Wheres He At 500.00 Is All Yours Call Me 530 8484923 .
