Im tempted to just replace the master cylinder cap myself instead of taking it to the dealer for them to tell me "they cant find any leak". Well just because they cant find the leak doesnt mean it doesnt exist. I think they lack any type of common sense.
This is the closest dealer to me and they have one of the "best" service departments, although i don't know what the criteria is for that. I've been wondering alot lately about the "customer is always right" thing. It doesn't exist anywhere in business anymore, kinda scary.
I had actually removed quite a bit of fluid from the master cylinder myself when i first noticed the cap leaking, figured that would solve the problem. But i guess the excess fluid "blew" the seal under the cap, so it won't completely pressurize the master cylinder now. The new one came in today, should have it put on on saturday, if they won't let me do it myself.
