how hard to replace ignition cylinder?

I believe he means distributor rotor... no fire, no taking truck...

yeah,I pulled the battery and took the coil wire off for now until I can get the lock cylinder changed

The rotor mount on top of the distributor and is underneath the distributor cap.

I know where and what the rotor u were referring to is I just wasn't sure if you were talking about something in the ignition switch being the rotor
