Question Programming Keyless Entry

I just purchased a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 7.3L Diesel. I have one functioning remote. The dealer gave me two unprogrammed remotes and said they could be programmed by assuring all electronic were off and turning on the key 10 times without starting the engine. It is not working. Anyone have and tips?

keyless entry

You almost had it. Turn the ignition from off to run EIGHT within 10 secs.
the doors will lock and then unlock. press any button on the remote. the doors will lock and unlock again. repeat for the other two remotes. You
to do all three at once. Shut the key off. done
