New to Fords.....

My wife has wanted a 70's 4X4 forever and we finally got one last weekend. We did a VIN search and found out that it has a 360 in it....I keep getting conflicting advice on what to do, but most are saying to go with a 390. I read that you can put the 390 rods, crank, and pistons to convert it....but they talk about FE (??) oil mods. Would I (or she) be happy with this truck if we left the 360 in it.....any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
