i have a 2000 polaris 250 trailblazer. just a couple of days ago i started hearing a clicking sound i thought i might have been the chain. but my cousin looked at it today and it's coming from the transmission. we pulled the dipstick for the tranny and it was low. Does any one have any clue what the clicking sound is?
Sounds like something in the chaincase. Mostly likely because the fluid was low you fried the chain that goes from the driven clutch to the drive sprocket.
Add some fluid and see what that does. If it still makes the noise you will have to tear apart the tranny and replace the driven clutch sprocket, chain or the gear on the drive sprocket.
