Ford recall 05S34
Well, I saw this coming...
After my 2004 started missing/hesitating/surging every once and awhile,
And after I had told the service manager about it and he "blew me off"
telling me there wasnt a problem, along comes this recall.
hey suprise! chafing on the injector module wires!
Also the injection control module may have been "improperly manufactured"!!!
Great. I would take it in, but I am on a job in Charlotte N.C. (NASCAR)
for most of August, and am using my truck to pull a large trailer from track to track.
My question, is: if it is the chafing issue, can I inspect and do a temporary repair on the wire? and if so, where do I look?
