I've used several handles, one being slacker 1, because of my crew of friends back home, we called ourselves the slackers, and somehow i got roped into being the frontrunner for that great group of hillbillyhooligans... no. 2 was Stroker, after the old Charlie Daniels song, since more than any of the slackers, the need for speed burned burned in my veins hotter than hell, and if i had the opportunity to speed, i was layin that hammer down!
hey, well i've used the handle Triple deuce ( or 222 ) it works both ways for regular channels and side band. i try to use pretty good stuff in my pick-up. i've got a 2950 tuned for regular channels and not just for 10 meter band. i've over a thousand channels i caan cover from with a fine antenna tunning from 26.000 to well over 29.000 band channels, the radio has been tuned up and has a connex board in it with talk back, and a super modulator. the radio puts out 40 watts stock. and the radio is backed up to a very nice set of sneakers. i've got a Texas Star 667 variable box to get out just about as far as i want to talk. i'm right about at 950 watts total. not bad eh!!!!! and to make all that power i have to use a custom made 200 amp. alternator for power, i don't dim the headlights driving at night when i hit the key. and all i've got for antenna's are a pair of 4ft. k-40's. the mic. is a stock noise cancelling mic. i don't remember the name right off hand. i like talking side band ( skip ) alot i've talked all over the u.s. and parts of canada, all from southern tennessee. i can drop some watts. i was talking to a person about a month ago coming home from work, i had the box on the low side about 3/4 turned up and was talking to this person he was 30 miles away and he said i was hitting him with 10 pounds. that's awsome! ya'll have fun scanning the bands out there. C.J.
Well there's a phrase I haven't heard for quite some time.
I started during the craze in Canada in 1975,
Went by the unique handle (No way could anyone ever copy it),
"THE BANANA PEELER"
Yes,it's along story how I attached this name to myself.
My Homebase was known as " The Banana Treehouse Base"
My girlfriend whoever it might have been on that particular day
went by the name " The Banana Dreamboat"
I had a lot fun back then.
I took the system off the truck 4 years ago.
I ran a Midland MPL-40 with 423 channels, talk about being able to find a clean frequency to get away from the rest of the people.
My biggest claim to fame was being able to sing that C.B. song
Was the dark of the moon on 6th of June with Kenworth hauling logs.... Cabover Pete with Reefer on and a Jimmy hauling Hogs......
I just remembered the other handle I had when I was running around in my Mustang. "Blast From The Past" hey it was original, and it was what I put on the back window of the car, before I ever put a CB in it. I may end up putting the same thing on the back window of my F100 as well. Although there isn't very much room.

They even had a bear in the air
I haven't turned on a CB for a while but my Handle used to be Brown Bomb. At the time I drove my mom's station wagon and it was brown. That car is long since gone, however if I ever put a CB in my truck the name is easily transferrable. My f250 is brown and the work 'bomb' could certainly apply (needs a little work)!
Hey you got " Dennis the Menace" here I run a Cobra 29 classic with uppers and lower channels and a Galaxy 225 Linear in my BII. I've had my handle most of my life due to my last name Dennis. I use to drive a semi across MO.,IND.,ILL.,OK.and Ia.
