Jasper Engines?
I have toured their factory and I was very impressed with the cleanleness (sp?) and care they put into everything. Everything is tested before it leaves the factory. My mom has a Jasper Engine in her Camaro that has over 100 grand on it, but i will have to check for the exact number, I posted a lengthy post on this a while back, i'll try to pull it up for ya.

Good engines but overpriced. Check out http://www.powerpro2000.com/
They have just as good of manufacturing control and details on exactly what goes into each remanufactured engine. This where I bought my 400 and I've had no problems (600 miles on it).
Be sure to have them ship it right to installer of your choice unless you will install yourself-they're damn heavy even to move in the driveway. That's assuming you don't put it on a dolly.

I think you will find only good things about Jaspers, but they are pricey. Ifound a nice alternative. Two local mechanic friends of mine have been instaoling Gopher engines. They are out of minn. and have a low failure rate. The worst case so far is some bad pushrods and lifters. They wanted the whole engine back and replaced it with another, instead of just allowing the mech to replace the parts, but that was two engines out of many. Good price, good warranty, around here they can be purchased through carquest. I bought a 302 longblock for about 1200 bucks, only have about 1000 miles on it, but so far it's everything it should be.
